Biography
Dr. Darryl Martins is a fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgery and is Board Certified in the highest level with the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery, since 2013. Dr. Darryl Martins has been trained in both Canada and the United States, mastering the art of foot and ankle surgery. He attended York University in Toronto, Ontario for his undergraduate degree in Kinesiology and completed his post graduate medical training from the Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia in 2007.
Dr. Darryl Martins then went on to complete a three year podiatric surgery residency at Kaiser Permanente and Providence Hospitals in Los Angeles, California. Although Dr. Martins is Board Certified in Foot and Ankle Surgery, he will always try to avoid surgery since conservative non-invasive treatments work for most conditions
